You might be as surprised as I was to find out that SickKids Hospital needs $2.5 million to replace many of their aging beds and stretchers. SavvyMom.ca is trying to raise $20,000 to buy 50 new therapeutic crib mattresses for the comfort of the tiniest patients in the hospital. Sick Kids truly requires new beds and cribs. I hope you can donate to this worthy cause. My son Massimo spent 6 months at Sick Kids and I can tell you that the cribs there are in very poor shape.
